2018 Ford F-150 Gets Ready To One-Up Itself

In an odd twist of fate, it seems that the 2018 Ford F-150 is playing a game of “beat your best.” When it arrives in the autumn, it will lead the half-ton class with 12,200 lbs. max towing and 470 lb-ft of torque thanks to the new EcoBoost V6 that arrived in 2017. In the spring, the new 3.0-liter Power Stroke turbodiesel will arrive, and one-up it in both categories. And that’s just the start of things.

As you can see in the video above, Ford has employed a different front fascia for every trim of the F-150. Like the Super Duty, each model will be differentiated from each other. The ten-speed automatic transmission that joined the twin-turbo V6 last year will also become standard across the range—saving gas, and improving acceleration. The engine lineup gets added might, too, with two engines rising up to 400 lb-ft of twist, and an all-new naturally-aspirated base V6 with 265 lb-ft of torque.

More connected, more innovative, and with more options, choosing the right F-150 for your needs might seem harder than ever. Yet our Ford dealership in Green Bay, WI is staffed by a sales team that knows their stuff! Put our knowledge to the test and contact us at your convenience.
